Private Lessons
Never Stop Learning
There are an infinite number of skills and tools for composers and musicians to learn and technology has become one of our most important tools, especially when it comes to music production for film, TV, and other media. But the learning curves can be daunting when you’re facing them on your own. Where do you start?
I am now offering lessons in Music Production for Film and TV. These lessons include any combination of learning to use DAWs, how to get your orchestral libraries to sound real, sound design, integrating electronic and orchestral instruments, mixing, and mastering!
Lessons are tailored to the needs and learning styles of each student. Music theory can be added in to lessons. We can do simple demonstration lessons or dive in deeper to create a piece together!

Orchestral Mockup Workshop
In this workshop I am going to teach you how to create both realistic classical sounding orchestral mockups and how to create cinematic mockups.
Libraries we'll be covering will be from Spitfire Audio, Native Instruments, 8dio, Soundpaint, and EastWest. We'll also go over Kontakt and using plug-ins to get unique sounds.
We will start by talking a little bit about orchestration and how to get your project set up. From there we discuss choosing and loading your instruments and going through your keyswitching options. After that we'll go over velocity, modulation, expression, and other control parameters you have at your fingertips. And finally we'll go over mixing and mastering your final track!
I will be working primarily in Logic Pro but will give a quick overview of where you can find the main sections we'll be working with in Cubase as well.
